Outreach

The Outreach Committee at the Church of the Holy Spirit brings together our parish family assisting our community. We are committed to positive outreach activities where everyone can participate, grow in spiritual awareness, and enjoy the experience.

Worcester County – Giving Other Lives Dignity (GOLD) – The Church of the Holy Spirit adopts children every year for the Backpack Program (school supplies) and the Angel Tree (Christmas gifts).

Local Food Pantries – The church has a basket for weekly donations of non-perishable food items. Parishioners sort and deliver donations to local food pantries.

Hope4Recovery – Meals are provided by parishioners monthly for the Hope4Recovery House, a transition home for men recovering from addictions. This is done with The Ocean Cluster of Episcopal Churches and others interested in this incredible mission.

gLOVEs – Church of the Holy Spirit sponsors a gLOVEs drive near Valentines day, collecting gLOVEs, hats, socks, and scarves to support the local community.

“Souper” Bowl Sunday – Cans of soup are collected on Super Bowl Sunday and delivered to local food pantries. The Sunday School actively participates each year.
